Christina Scicluna is an Associate within Ganado Advocates’ corporate and fintech teams. She advises a variety of multinational clients on international corporate structures, including the setting up of Maltese entities and domiciliation of entities, M&A transactions and assisting clients on corporate governance matters.
Ganado Advocates (formerly Ganado & Associates) is a leading commercial law firm with a particular focus on the corporate, financial services and maritime/aviation sectors, predominantly servicing international clients doing business through of Malta. The firm also promotes other areas such as tax, pensions, intellectual property, employment and litigation.
Since 2010 she has completed several traineeships with lawyers.
From June 2012 to July 2013 she worked as a tax assistant in KPMG in Toronto.
In 2012 she obtained Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with European Studies, Diploma in Notary Public Area of studyDoctor of laws (LLD) at the University of Malta.
For 1 year and 5 months, she was a lawyer in the company PiscoPartners in Valletta.
In 2014 she obtained a Diploma in Taxation and in 2016 a Higher Diploma in International Taxation.
She also worked as a senior associate at MAMO TCV Avocats from 2015 to March 2019.
Christina has also been involved in the fintech industry since 2017 and advises a number of clients on legal matters relating to blockchain, virtual financial assets and distributed ledger technology projects.
