Brian McNulty is the CEO of FAC (FundAdminChain), a blockchain-based network for launching, distributing, and servicing tokenized Funds.
Prior to founding FAC, Brian was?Managing Director, Global Head of Services at R3, an enterprise blockchain firm with the largest?blockchain ecosystem in the world.
His interest in applying DLT to the financial markets began in 2015, whilst Chair of the FinTech committee of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments,?leading him establishing the PTDL (Post Trade Distributed Ledger) Group with the London Stock Exchange, to explore how blockchain could be leveraged to realize efficiencies across the financial market value chains.
?Brian has founded, grown, and exited?several companies prior to FAC?servicing a?client?base of?over 200 banks and financial firms globally. These firms?include?DBFS Consultancy, specializing in buy-side/fund admin fintech (customers included JPMorgan, HSBC, BNP Paribas, ICAP, State Street) , Tradermade International providing Trading and Technical Analysis software solutions (customers included Lloyds, Citi, Merrill Lynch, BNY Mellon, UBS) and appii.io,?a blockchain career, and health pass verification platform.
His earlier career was as a Senior Derivatives Trader and is a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe Level II) after graduating from Glasgow University with an Honours Mathematics degree.
