BIJAN ALIZADEH (Founder & Partner, Cypher Capital) Bijan is one of the leaders in the blockchain ecosystem in the Middle East and is the co-founder of Phoenix Technology, which is building one of the biggest Bitcoin mining farms in the UAE and has 450 MW of operational mining farms across Russia, Canada, and the USA. Bijan is also the founder of Phoenix Technology VC, a venture capital fund that has successfully invested USD 10 Million into Blockchain startups in the past two years. Following the great achievements of Phoenix Technology VC, in 2022 Bijan has embarked on establishing another firm, Cypher Capital, a Dubai-based blockchain focussed Capital Venture company, a self-funded 100 Million USD private fund, which is investing in token projects. In addition, Cypher Capital is building a 10,000 sq. feet hub for crypto startups in Dubai Jumeirah Beach Residence which is set to open in August 2022 and will provide mentorship with legal, licensing, security, technical, financial, event consulting, media & marketing requirements, along with a fun place to work and network with the crypto community in the UAE.
