Eran Shay is the co-founder and Managing Director of Benefit Business Solutions Ltd – a Gibraltar based Innovation & Business Consulting firm.

Eran has previously led the Financial Advisory Services practice at Deloitte in Gibraltar and has been working with Deloitte for over 15 years, initially based at the Tel Aviv office, Israel.

Eran Shay has ample experience in the fields of Corporate Finance, Regulatory Consulting, Business & Strategic Planning, Valuations and Transaction Support : he has led several Initial Public Offerings of companies on the London AIM and Main Stock Exchanges, and has been involved in numerous M&A transactions, from target screening, through due- diligence to financial closure. Eran serves as the President of the Gibraltar-Israel Chamber of Commerce? and also a Board Director of the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses and holds a Masters in Banking & Finance from Middlesex University, London.

Eran has been advising Blockchain and crypto related businesses since 2017, assisting and accompanying them in getting DLT licences and VASP registrations from the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.

In his role as professional advisor and trusted project manager for the launch of NFTs and for obtaining a DLT Licence, Eran Shay is involved in anything from assistance with the initial setup in Gibraltar and advising on the right structure, liaising with the financial Regulator, preparation of business plan and financial projections, putting together the risk management framework, calculation of capital adequacy requirements and preparation of various other supporting documents as part of the application process.

Being a neutral, objective advisor, Eran is able to construct the best local professional service provider team for the client, acting as a dedicated resource on the ground looking after all operational day-to-day aspects of the process that normally fall outside the realms of the lawyers/accountants.
