Dr Josef Cachia

Dr Cachia joined KSi Malta, in May of 2014. Specialising in Corporate law, Commercial law and Financial Services his contributions to KSi Malta range from providing advice to clients, the drafting of complex commercial agreements while also assisting in internal legal matters of the firm. Previously Josef has practiced for a number of years with a local law firm and has also worked with a corporate services provider. Dr Cachia graduated from the University of Malta as a Doctor of Laws in 2011 with his doctoral thesis titled “A Comparative Analysis of the Legal Requirements of Copyright Law”. He has also obtained a Master’s Degree in 2013 with the University of Malta in Financial Services, with his second thesis titled, “The Single Supervisory Mechanism; The Legal and Practical implications of this new supervisory structure.” He has also obtained a certificate in Trusts Law and Trust Administration from the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners. He has also obtained his warrant to practice as an Advocate in Malta in 2012.
